What is The Library?
The Library is exactly what it sounds like. Well, sort of. With so many writers publishing full-length works of fiction here on Substack, as well as nonfiction works like biographies and memoirs, it became clear that readers need a central location to easily peruse and find books that interest them.
Our answer: The Library. An all-in-one resource for readers interested in discovering great reads and new authors.
While The Library is free for all to use, subscribers essentially get a digital Library Card, which not only provides access to all the best indie titles available on Substack, but also ensures you never miss new releases. The Library will send notices to members about new works added to the collection, so you’ll never miss the chance to discover your next great read!
For Authors
As writers, we know the hard work and dedication it takes to write a book. Don’t let your work go unnoticed! We hope to list as many of the books published on Substack as possible so readers can find and enjoy them. At this time, we are only accepting books being serialized or published in full on Substack, whether free or behind a paywall. The full text of your book must eventually be available to readers on Substack to be eligible.
