Promoting indie voices through a book box subscription
The XPress Book Box is kicking off an exciting year filled with handpicked indie books. I’ve been hard at work enhancing the physical bookstore and your monthly book box experience. This subscription is only made possible by paid subscribers, so thank you for believing in me!
I opened an indie bookshop, Enchanted Books, in Rio Rancho, New Mexico, dedicated to promoting local and independent voices. I even have exclusive books published in-house and sourced through direct partnerships. Now, combined with the book box, I’m making it possible to receive these exceptional titles anywhere in the U.S.
All current paid subscribers will be grandfathered into the physical box at the quarterly shipment frequency (i.e., four boxes per year). Those of you outside the continental U.S. will continue to enjoy the digital perks as they’re released. If you’d like to cancel your subscription due to these changes, let me know, and I’ll issue a prorated refund.
You may opt out of the book box and keep your subscription going if you wish to support my mission without receiving products at your doorstep. Current subscribers can upgrade to a new tier to get even more from their subscription.
Substack currently offers three tiers—Monthly, Annual, and XPress Founder—so I’m working within these parameters to keep things accessible. I’ve set prices as low as possible to cover materials, printing, add-ons, and shipping. For even more flexibility and book box options, a dedicated Patreon with expanded tiers is in the works. Since I cannot yet provide “skip” or “genre preference” options, I’ll select only the highest-quality titles until those features are available.
